Gainesville isn't just any town to me—it's been my cherished home for over 50 years. Throughout this time, I've witnessed incredible growth and opportunity, all while our town maintains its distinct southern charm and vitality. With roots that span seven generations, Gainesville holds a special place in the hearts of my family—my wife, children, and I couldn't imagine calling anywhere else home.
What sets Gainesville apart is its unique blend of a small-town community feel with ample big-city opportunities. From the intimate world-class plays at the Hippodrome Theatre to the diverse performances at our Cultural Arts facilities, there's always something to captivate and inspire. Sports enthusiasts can cheer on teams at Florida Field and the O'Connell Center, while outdoor enthusiasts have endless adventures within an hour's drive—whether it's the magic of Orlando, the serene beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, or the culinary delights of Cedar Key.
For my family, Gainesville has been more than a place to live—it's where our children have thrived in education, music, athletics, and more. The warmth and support of this community have helped turn their dreams into reality, and it's a place they'll always come back to.


As a real estate professional deeply rooted in Gainesville, I've had the privilege of serving this community since 1994. Named a Multi-Million Dollar Top Producer and now President of Coldwell Banker MM Parrish, Realtors, I'm proud to lead over 85 sales associates across two offices. Beyond real estate, I remain actively engaged in our community through organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, United Way, and First Presbyterian Church, as well as coaching youth sports leagues.
With 31 years of marriage to my wife, Sherry, and two wonderful children, Avery and Tori, Gainesville is not just a place we live—it's where our hearts reside. This is my Gainesville, my home, and I am grateful every day to be a part of this North Central Florida treasure.
