Peter Whitbeck started his real estate career in 1971 working for two local residential and commercial agencies before starting his own company, Whitbeck Associates, in 1991 where he built his reputation as a commercial real estate broker.
When the Plattsburgh Air Force Base closed in 1994 and the Plattsburgh Area Redevelopment Corporation was founded, Peter served on the Board of Directors and evaluated the leasing paperwork when PARC was exploring welcoming new tenants to the buildings left on the base.
Peter understands the commercial business from the ground up, and became a mentor for many area brokers just starting out. His expertise in all aspects of commercial real estate has made him one of the North Country’s most respected brokers.
