BUILD Chicago Conference Recap: Trends and Tactics in Commercial Real Estate
On Oct. 22-23, Coldwell Banker Commercial® (CBC®) joined industry leaders at the BUILD Chicago conference to discuss the trends and opportunities shaping commercial real estate. Moderated by Tony Hardy, J.D., executive director at Keller Williams ONEChicago, Commercial; Jenna Hille, CBC’s national director of strategy and operations, participated in a panel alongside Jaymie Gelino, global chief operating officer at PDS – JLL; Steven Kohn, principal at Avison Young; and Paul DeKruiff, multifamily acquisition and development at Redwood. Dan Spiegel, SIOR, CBC’s senior vice president and managing director, also contributed to a panel on the trends driving the future of commercial real estate, along with Justin Puppi, vice president at CBRE, and Kristin Cerutti, associate principal and regional design leader, Workplace, at NELSON Worldwide. Their insights on market resilience and adaptive reuse reinforced the broader theme of sustainability that emerged throughout the conference. Speigel further engaged in a panel moderated by Latricia Gordon MBA, PMP, executive director of Urban Advocates and vice president of project management at JLL.
